Intraoral Cameras

An intraoral camera is shaped like a pen and can be placed in your mouth to take pictures of your teeth, gums, and other oral structures at any number of angles. High-quality images make it easier for us to make accurate diagnoses as early as possible, but the biggest advantage for our patients is that they get the chance to see their own mouths from a dentist’s point of view. All-Digital X-Rays

You’ve probably had your X-rays taken at the dentist’s office before, but are you familiar with just how much digital technology has changed the process? Traditional X-rays exposed patients to an uncomfortably high level of radiation, and developing them could be time-consuming. Digital X-rays, in contrast, involve much less radiation exposure, and the images are ready in an instant so that you aren’t left waiting. Furthermore, digital X-rays are clearer and make it easier for us to narrow down problem areas.

The Wand™

Numbing the tooth is done for the patient’s comfort, but many people find it’s hard to be comfortable with any process that involves a needle. The Wand™ is designed to be as benign-looking as possible so that you can relax before the injection, and the medicine is delivered at a carefully controlled rate based on how dense the tissues are in the given area. As a result, many patients find the injections to be completely painless and stress-free.
